Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office / Engineering Assistant to support both administrative operations and engineering project activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is interested in gaining hands-on experience in engineering consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Provide general office support including document management, filing, and correspondence
- Prepare, format, and edit reports, proposals, and presentations
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and travel arrangements
- Maintain project records and assist with contract documentation
Engineering Support
- Assist engineers with data entry, calculations, and preparation of design packages
- Organize and manage project files, drawings, and technical documents
- Assist in compiling material lists, specifications, and project deliverables
- Perform basic quality checks on engineering documents
Project Coordination
- Track project tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
- Communicate with internal team members to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Assist in preparing Statements of Work (SOW) and job specifications
Qualifications
Required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
